CAMPONOTUS is the scientific name for the Carpenter Ant – a small creature that can do big things, just like every child who choses to belong to history’s greatest Carpenter.

Jesus can use Little People to do Big Things!giants with God

Mission

Camponotus Kids are organised into 3 age-specific groups.

    • Ants – 5-8 year olds

    • Workers – 9-12 year olds

    • Soldiers – 13-16 year olds

Camponotus Kids has been organised to encourage children aged 5-16 years to learn, socialise and understand more about our loving God.  We will be organising four Ev-Ants (1 to 3 days per camp) where children can get together and learn survival skills, crafts, domestic skills and much more!

Along with building relationships and different needed life skills, the children will be collecting valuable resources and receiving achievement badges so that they can remember the wonderful things that they have learnt throughout the year.

Philosophy

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

  1.
    1. Camponotus Kids are encouraged to follow God and grow up to serve Him.
    2. Camponotus Kids are directed at children and youth from ages 5-16 years. We will also encourage youth to mentor and help run the programs together with spiritually minded parents and adults.
    3. Camponotus Kids are a part of the SDARM Education Department Australia wide. However, each field will be running their own separate programs along our guidelines.
    4. Camponotus Kids programs are designed to encourage children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming. This helps children’s physical, creative, mental, social, and spiritual health.
    5. Camponotus Kids are able to join in with likeminded peers and develop skills for their futures.
